21.097 km<\/strong><\/p>\n The race, both competitive<\/strong> and non-competitive recreational\/sporting<\/strong>, will take place on Sunday, December 20, 2026<\/strong>, on a course measured and certified by AIMS\u2013World Athletics and FIDAL<\/strong>, with the start at 9:00 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Half Marathon \u2013 La Pisanina 2026<\/strong> is open to Italian and foreign athletes born in 2008 or earlier<\/strong>, who fall into one of the following categories:<\/p>\n FIDAL-registered athletes<\/strong>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Italian and foreign athletes<\/strong> holding a RunCard<\/strong> (valid as sports insurance and a competition permit), and athletes registered with a Sports Promotion Body (Athletics Section)<\/strong> holding a RunCard\u2013EPS<\/strong>, limited to persons aged 20 and over<\/strong> who hold a valid medical certificate of competitive fitness specifically for athletics<\/strong>, which must be submitted (also digitally) to the organizing clubs for each event;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Italian\/foreign athletes not registered in Italy<\/strong> holding a membership card from clubs affiliated with foreign athletics federations recognized by World Athletics<\/strong>. At the time of entry, they must alternatively submit a self-declaration<\/strong> confirming possession of a World Athletics\u2013recognized membership card. The self-declaration must, in any case, be signed in original form when collecting the race bib;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Foreign NON-REGISTERED athletes<\/strong> who will participate only in the non-competitive recreational\/sporting category<\/strong>. These foreign athletes will be insured by the organization upon signing a waiver, will be entitled to all services, but will be excluded from the rankings<\/strong> and from the prize money<\/strong>, in any form (cash or in-kind).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Entry form;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Payment;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n FIDAL membership card, foreign World Athletics membership card or EPS card and RunCard EPS or RunCard, and a medical certificate for competitive activity.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Online only<\/strong> on www.maratonadipisa.com<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Participation is not allowed under any circumstances<\/strong> for athletes who are not registered<\/strong> or who do not have proof of payment.<\/p>\n Fees can be consulted directly on the registration form.<\/p>\n The organization reserves the right to temporarily suspend, or close early, registrations once the maximum number is reached in order to guarantee all services.<\/p>\n A maximum of 4,500 athletes<\/strong> is planned: 2,200<\/strong> in the Marathon and 2,300<\/strong> in the Half Marathon. Any communication will be published on www.maratonadipisa.com<\/span><\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n In case of non-participation, entry fees are not refundable under any circumstances<\/strong>.<\/p>\n However, athletes unable to take part will be offered two alternatives, which must be communicated to the organization no later than December 9, 2026<\/strong>:<\/p>\n Transfer the entry to the Pisa Marathon 2027<\/strong>, upon payment of a \u20ac10.00<\/strong> administrative fee at the time of the new registration. This transfer to the following year\u2019s edition may be used only once<\/strong>. The transfer to the 2027 edition is not cumulative with other fee reductions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Transfer the entry to another person<\/strong>, upon payment of a \u20ac10.00<\/strong> administrative fee and by returning the confirmation email received.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n The person pre-registered in 2026 or registered as a replacement must complete a new entry form<\/strong> with all personal information, membership details and submission of the medical certificate. A new available bib number will be assigned, with access to the available start grid at that time.<\/p>\n The transfer to another athlete may be used only for the 2026 edition<\/strong> and in any case only once<\/strong>. The transfer of the entry to another person is not cumulative with any other fee reductions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n In case the event is cancelled due to force majeure, entries may be transferred to subsequent years, up to no more than 3 editions<\/strong>, provided they are confirmed each time through new forms accepting the rules of the chosen edition. It will be possible to transfer entries to other persons as above with a \u20ac10.00<\/strong> supplement.<\/p>\n If documentation is incomplete, an email will be sent indicating what is missing or must be supplemented (proof of payment, valid FIDAL card on race day, valid medical certificate of competitive fitness for athletics on race day, etc.).<\/p>\n Participants must go to the Marathon Expo Village<\/strong> to collect their bib, together with an identity document and any additional documentation requested.<\/p>\n Athletes may collect their bib:<\/p>\n Friday 18<\/strong> from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n Saturday, December 19, 2026<\/strong> from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.<\/strong> To collect the bib, athletes must show a valid ID and any documentation required in the confirmation letter (membership card, RunCard, valid medical certificate of competitive fitness).<\/p>\n The bib and race pack of only one (1)<\/strong> other participant may be collected, provided a delegation and a copy of their ID are presented. No one may collect more than one bib\/race pack with delegation.<\/strong><\/p>\n All registered participants are entitled to: race pack, refreshments, medical assistance, finisher medal, downloadable online certificate, and official timing with finishing order. Only athletes properly registered with the federation and foreign athletes registered with World Athletics may take part in the final cash award ceremonies.<\/p>\n Meeting time in the start area is 8:00 a.m.<\/strong> in Largo Cocco Griffi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The start is at 9:00 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n Access to the start pens is allowed from 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.<\/strong> Late arrivals will be invited to start in the last grid at the back of the race.<\/p>\n All athletes must be ready and inside their start grid by 8:45 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n It will not be permitted to enter a start grid different from the one indicated on the race bib. Once inside their grid, athletes will no longer be able to exit.<\/p>\n Starting from a grid behind<\/strong> the assigned one will be allowed.<\/p>\n Times may change according to any provisions issued by security and police authorities.<\/p>\n The race bib is personal and it is forbidden to exchange it with other competitors, under penalty of disqualification.<\/p>\n The bib must be attached to the front of the race shirt, clearly visible. The text on the bib must not be covered under any circumstances, under penalty of disqualification.<\/p>\n The time limit for the half marathon (km 21.097) is set at 3 hours and 15 minutes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Athletes running slower than 8:30 min\/km<\/strong> must comply with the rules of the Highway Code.<\/p>\n Timing services will be provided by Evodata<\/strong> using a MyLaps microchip<\/strong> inserted in the bib, allowing you to record your actual (net) time.<\/p>\n The chip is strictly personal and cannot be exchanged.<\/p>\n \u201cReal time\u201d will start when crossing the start line and end when crossing the finish line. Rankings, based on gun time<\/strong>, will be made official after validation by the Technical Delegate \/ Appeals Judge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The bib, and therefore the MyLaps sensor, must not be removed for any reason, under penalty of exclusion from the rankings.<\/p>\n No showers and\/or changing rooms are provided.<\/p>\n Bag drop will take place in the Via Duomo area<\/strong>, in spaces designated for this service, divided by bib number groups, starting at 7:00 a.m.<\/strong> The official bag will be deposited in the designated areas by service staff. It is mandatory to attach the sticker with your bib number (provided at the Expo) to the bag. Bag drop closes at 8:30 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n Two lists will be drawn up: the one according to FIDAL circulars for the competitive race, eligible for the cash prize money governed by these rules, and the list of finishers in the non-competitive race.<\/p>\n The first 10 overall men<\/strong> and the first 10 overall women<\/strong> will be awarded. The first 3 overall men<\/strong> and the first 3 overall women<\/strong> will be called to the podium. No awards or prizes are \u043f\u0440\u0435\u0434\u0443\u0441\u043c\u043e\u0442\u0440 for age-group categories. Prize recipients (overall and Italian-only) must complete the administrative and tax forms that the organization will send in the days following the event (to be requested at: segreteria@maratonadipisa.com<\/span><\/a><\/strong>).<\/p>\n OVERALL (MEN \/ WOMEN)<\/strong> ITALIAN ATHLETES BONUS (MEN \/ WOMEN)<\/strong> The first 3 overall men and the first 3 overall women classified according to the official time will be called to the podium and awarded. No age-group awards or prizes are provided.<\/p>\n By signing the entry form for the Pisa Marathon, the athlete expressly authorizes the organization, free of charge, to use images, still and\/or moving, portraying them and taken during their participation in the Marathon. This authorization is granted for an unlimited period and worldwide, for use in publications and various videos, including\u2014by way of example and not limited to\u2014promotional and\/or advertising material, produced on any media.<\/p>\n The organization may also assign to third parties, including its institutional and commercial partners, the usage rights provided for in this agreement.<\/p>\n In compliance with applicable laws, the organization may provide its institutional and commercial partners with profiling data usage rights as provided by the policy, subject to explicit acceptance by the registered participants.<\/p>\n By signing the entry form, the athlete declares that they are aware of and accept the rules of the XVIII Pisa Half Marathon \u2013 La Pisanina<\/strong>, published on www.maratonadipisa.com<\/span><\/a><\/strong>.
