Maratona di Pisa regrets to announce that 2020 edition, in calendar for next December the 20th, won’t take place!
We examined any possible way to allow the start of the race but none of the solutions analysed was CONTAMINATION-RISK FREE for the athletes partecipating the competition. Furthermore, in this particolar period for the world and for Italy as well, we would have had troubles in granting an adequate turism infrastructure for people travelling to Pisa for the marathon weekend.
We are working already for Dec 19th 2021, the next edition of Maratona di Pisa together with our sponsors which always support us even for the tough decisions!
